👍 Why Choose Goleta MyoWorks

This work is deeply personal to me—because I’ve lived it.

Years ago, I struggled with symptoms of Upper Airway Resistance Syndrome (UARS), searching for answers that conventional approaches weren’t fully addressing. That journey led me through palate expansion and a tongue-tie release—experiences that completely changed the way I understood breathing, sleep, and oral function.

But the real turning point came when I went through my own myofunctional therapy over 8 years ago with Barbara Greene, one of the pioneers in the field. That experience didn’t just improve my health—it sparked something bigger. I saw firsthand how powerful this work is when done correctly, and it inspired me to become a myofunctional therapist myself.

Today, I don’t just teach this work—I live it. I use these principles every day to support healthy airway development in my own children, focusing on habits that promote proper breathing, tongue posture, and long-term wellness from the start.

I’ve also continued to deepen my expertise through advanced training and hands-on workshops, including with The Breathe Institute and Vivos in Colorado. This allows me to blend personal experience with evidence-based techniques and the latest advancements in airway health.

When you work with me, you’re not just getting a protocol—you’re getting someone who truly understands the journey, has walked the path, and is committed to helping you (or your child) breathe, sleep, and thrive.
